Speaker

Philip Hackett QC is a barrister practicing in contentious litigation, both civil and criminal, specialising in fraud and financial regulation. He also has a keen interest in international regulatory, trade and political matters.

He is a partner in a mediation Institute based in Geneva, that was founded to promote alternative dispute resolution, particularly in commercial matters between Europe and China. He believes that cultural differences lead to misunderstandings that are best resolved through these channels, and are only aggravated by formal legal proceedings.
